Maternity Photography Favorites

So I’m sure you can tell just by looking at our blog that a majority of the work we do is centered around wedding photography…  or so it would seem that way given thats pretty much all that is posted on here. In reality, we do a ton of everything…  I guess in order not to water down this wedding photography blog, once upon a time we decided to keep it focused upon just that. weddings.  More and more though as we continue to bust out with awesomeness outside of the realm of weddings I am 2nd guessing my decision. I recently photographed a huge commercial photography campaign for Idyllwild Arts to promote their Annual Jazz in the Pines Festival. My photos have been on display all over the town in large banners, been in magazines and newspapers… but you wouldnt even know all that cause this main vessel for promoting our work has been all wedding oriented up until now. Well… we are photographers.. and pretty kick ass ones at that [IMO] and my idea of things is changing. I’d like this to be a portfolio documenting our growth in all areas, not just focused on one…  so this is a start.

We continue to be contacted to do maternity photos for couples and I am often asked if I have a portfolio of maternity photography to show.  I do! I do! So I guess rather than go and post up individually, everything from the past that has never before been posted, [that would take weeks]  … I am going to start posting new work be it wedding related or not from here on out.. and as far as maternity goes, well.. BELOW are a buncha my favorite maternity snaps from the past few years that never made it to the blog, all in ONE post. I’m sure there are some I’m forgetting but this grab should give ya an idea of what we are and are capable of.. and style. Now of course at these sessions I take a variety of pics. The guys, the pets, any props or whatever ya wanna incorporate. That said, I may have unintentionally excluded much of that because I picked the photos strictly on the basis of that which I was most in love with… :)  Enjoy!
