San Clemente Engagement Photography – Wedding Photographer in Orange County
6 degrees of separation. Its an interesting theory, it could be true… who knows? I mean obviously when you live in the same state and general region the chances of this being proven go waaaaaay up, but all the same it trips me out when random connections like this are made unknowingly. Check this out. Waaaaaaaaaay back in the day I told you about Juan and De’Aura [probably our most old school followers] They found us when we literally just started and were offering up free weddings to build the portfolio. We just love them, shot their wedding at the Cal State Fullerton Alumni House and had a blast. The End. But dont forget about them just yet ok, this will tie in later. Alright so about a month or so later we had another amazing smog shoppe wedding between two more fabulous people we hope will repopulate the earth with their awesomeness, Jessica and Terry. Now at THAT wedding we made a bunch of new friends and met the couple featured in this blog post right now. [introducing Fatin and Dan] Beautiful people all the way around. We clicked and after having the best night ever rocking out at the smog shoppe they decided that they wanted us to be their wedding photographers. Super cool, I’ve been excited about this ever since.
So just yesterday when I posted up a bunch of Fatin’s eshoot pics on our facebook page, De’Aura dropped in with a few comments on pics. And it turns out that Fatin and De’Aura grew up together when they were kids… like elementary school style! whaaaat? yes! and I know exactly what you are thinking… and its crazy right!? they both have the same great tastes in photographers ;) ha! no seriously though, how random. its things like this that make you go hmmmmmmmm. Such a small world and paths cross like that all the time… which interestingly enough is exactly the way Fatin and Dan met each other cruise to begin with… but I’m gonna save that back story for the wedding post. moving on! If I lost you on that I apologize., little tangent. All you really need to know now is that two more genuine, charismatic + damn good looking people are getting married and we have the pleasure to be associated with them [and their friends].
Jess and I had a blast at this San Clemente engagement session. We each took turns and rocked a bunch of different ideas. Fatin and Dan were down for everything as you’ll see at the end of the set. Bummed I forgot my 70-200 lens, guess I shoulda just taken my 3k cam and hopped in the water with them. Shot the ending sequence with a 100mm macro ;/ it did the trick but its times like this that I wanna just have an underwater housing so I can get right smack in the middle of the action. Someday. Anyhow, check out this kick ass engagement session ok? And if this post got you thinking about building sand castles or riding big wheels with that old best friend from preschool/ elementary school, then give em a call or drop that name into facebook and say “hey!”
Thanks so much you two for being ridiculously awesome models, go with the flow and down for whatever! If this was just a taste then I cant wait for the wedding! Hope it wasnt to wet, sandy n cold of a ride home ;) So glad you opted for the beach, sure the Temecula engagement photos would have been rad but we got a killer sunset and all kinds of epic shots in SC :)
