Destination Wedding Photography – Palm Springs

Destination Wedding Photographer in Palm Springs!!!

Ahhh once again the universe smiled upon us and had our paths cross with two amazingly kick ass human beings!! and Im thankful it did. Cory + Carissa.   Ya know,  some people have it all… good looks and the charm. Leaves people like me a bit envious. I, for one, scare myself when I look in the mirror as I walk by… and I cant help but think that one day that frightful spike in my heart rate is going to end up killing me.  I just assume these two don’t have that problem and because of it will live out long glorious lives together with many insane adventures across the world.

Ohhh crap!! I just reminded myself!! Yeahhhh, so speaking of insane adventures!?!? >>> I think I am going to have to stop friending my brides on Instagram… Carissa, its not just you thats done this to me, however, you could be one of the major reasons why ;-)  No sooner do I wrap up this epic palm springs wedding,  suddenly I start seeing the most AMAZING photos in my feed of a freakin African safari!?!? Giraffes start poppin up.. people swimming on the edge of a waterfall a mile in the sky.. are you  kidding me!?! lol  I’m jealous! Helicopter tours n stuff!?!   *long pause*   I think I’m marketing myself all wrong… wedding photography is rad but a touch of stress that I think I could eliminate. Plus its probably giving me gray hair.  I’m gonna have to switch my angle this next year and start marketing myself as the “honeymoon adventure photographer” !!!!  hey! thats a pretty damn good idea… do you think I could really get paid to put my creative touch on documenting a day or two in the life of an adventurous newlywed couple???

I’ll be right back.

OK… sooooo I just went and bought that domain!! [honeymoonadventurephotographer.com]  lol. hell, why not?  dont be all surprised when this time next year Im not only rockin wedding photography by a Palm Springs wedding photographer photojournalist shooting wedding and honeymoon adventures all over the world.  yeahhh..  shit just got real. somehow my in my rambling I just happened to talk myself into a new direction for photography,  creating a new market. Funny how it happens.

Ok, moving on!!

I blogged pretty hard on their Downtown Fullerton engagement cause it was rad, annnnd this was right up there with it on the cool spectrum.  So you know I’ve been eager to drop this up for its day in the sun on here as well. Shamefully I have been putting it off cause I felt pressure to make it fabulous, like somehow the words I wrote here had any real value or enhancement on the wedding photos that follow!? ridiculous I know, Im freakin 3 paragraphs in on a wedding photography blog… so its not like anyone is even reading any of this anymore. I dont know why I give myself the added pressure.  Ya’ll have already moved on to the pictures.  << 3, 19, 27, 44, 57,  powerball 4 >>  see what I did just then???  I gave you the winning lotto numbers for the drawing tomorrow night.  oh, well..  thats how it goes.. so as they say “time flies when you are having fun”  and its been months now so I figured its beyond time to dust off this gem and let it shine.

This glorious desert wedding took place the same weekend as #OLDCHELLA, and the reception literally a couple miles away.  Palm Springs and surrounding areas were buzzin hard with people. This was a 3 location day: hotel for getting ready, church for the ceremony and private estate for the party!! So with a bit of lucky and planning we were able to navigate the day and avoid major crowds and detours. All the details were in place and the night went off without a hitch. I gab on and on and tell ya all about the vintage style with so much class, the amount of attention Carissas stunning 2 piece dress received, The beautiful estate that played background for the evening, amazing ben n jerry ice cream cart, delicious cocktails that were being served up, or the crazy stuff that went down in the PARTYbooth.. but I should really zip my lip and let the pics do the talking.
