Huntington Beach Engagement! Yeahhh Baaaby!!

Temecula Wedding Photographers Rockin a Huntington Beach Engagement Seshhh!

Gotta get up to get down!! And we got down in HB with Taylor and Bryce, kicked it local and got a sweet variety of snaps. I love it when we can brainstorm with a couple to find a place that means something to them. Jess and I get around… any given weekend could be photographing a wedding in San Diego or An engagement in Orange County… so naturally we get asked where our favorite place to shoot is?? Not sure about Jess, but my answer is “someplace new.”   Dont get me wrong, there is nothing bad about revisiting a place we have photographed before.  That presents its own set of challenges,  to shoot it differently and better than before… its important not to repeat or fall into habit. That being said, I do not like shooting the same place over and over [which is why we are ONLY on 2 vendor lists in our home town]  dont want things to get repetitive and keeping it fresh is the spice of life, my recipe has extra zing!

So this is Taylor and Bryce’s stomping grounds. We jumped in the mix of the locals, walked down avenues and alleyways, ended up down on the boardwalk and under the pier. The place was totally buzzin as they had just wrapped up some huge surf tournament and we made our way to the waterline and somehow managed to stay dry.. which is more than I can say for them… but hey, when you live down the street, its all good.

*note to self: next time a couple accidentally gets wet, and lives down the street from the beach, be sure to just make them go all the way in. might as well.
