BLU Christmas – Holiday bake off !!

We have been a fan of BLU DOMAIN since we launched our Temecula Wedding Photography business… they’ve been there since day one. Our first wedding photography portfolio site was “Juliet” and we upgraded to “Nolan” when it came out and couldn’t be happier. So when we heard through the BLU facebook page that they were having a contest going on that involved baking for a $300 gift certificate, Jess got REALLY excited. 2 worlds collided. Equally as much as we love BLU, Jess LOVES to bake. She broke out the eggs, batter and frosting to create the ultimate cake… and me? I just sat around and took pics of the fun day we spent together as a family getting in the holiday spirit! Enjoy!

So as per the rules of the contest: “Bake a holiday cake or cupcakes. Decorate it holiday style. Next to the cake or cupcakes – put a pop can and some of the batter in the bowl and dirty utensils. Just to make sure you just baked it! Whatever that may be. Take a photograph 500 pixels high or 1000 pixels wide.” So we brought out the mess from the kitchen + pop can and posed it up! That little blue square on top of the cake is the BLU logo ;) oh yeaaah!! so crafty! Avalon couldnt resist picking off the little snow bits on the cake so we finally let her get her little hands on it…. nom, nomm, nommmmm!

And since all the pretty pics were finished being taken… it’s time to dig in!!
