Ace Hotel Engagement // Palm Springs
On a little vacay from the bay area, Tina and Ryan hit me up to to take engagement photos at the Ace Hotel in Palm Springs. Away go my scenester points with this confession but I had never been to the Ace Hotel to take pics before now. I know, so far behind. It actually causes the punk rock kid in me recite the lyrics of minor threat’s “out of step” … “I cant keep up! I cant keep up! I cant keep up! out of step, with the world!”
Gahhhh! its so true. If you have been to the Inner Song facebook page you know what Im sayin… if you havent, dont worry you arent missing anything.. lol I think I last updated that in July. I should probably do that again at some point… out of step. At one point I was so on it updating it so much that I straight OD’d on FB. Annnnnd like any junkie just somehow struggling to kick the habit, it aint easy, but its getting easier. just can’t stand FBland anymore.
My gawwwd, look what I went and did… another tangent. when Im old its gonna be a bad scene talking to me.
Back on track… I rolled up to the hotel and within minutes was sweating my ace off [see what I did there?, yeah. Im on fire]Â I hit the bar to grab some creative juice before the session began… and then [staying at the same hotel] they called n let me know they were running late… so I had another drink :)
Ryan and Tina called me to their room where they were drinking already. A round of shots were poured. I declined. they insisted… and the rest… well, we shot the shit out of that place and had a damn good time doing so.
fun fact: there are a handful of shots I actually left in the random Pabst tall boy in. Instead of cropping or photo shopping out completely… because these guys keep it real and you don’t just appreciate that, you celebrate it.
